Good Morning Elmdon Residents,
It's been a busy week for your local LEOS NHT with various events this week with school engagement and tackling road related offending with a joint operation and a number of arrests.
Crime Updates: On 19/6/26 at around 2030hrs three unknown offenders have thrown stones at a moving vehicle near to Springfield Crescent and Valley Road causing dents to the door. The investigation is ongoing to identify the offenders. On 13/6/26 during the night, unknown offenders have stolen a Ford Eco Sport from Merevale Road by unknown means. On the evening of 16/6/26, there was a theft of a motor vehicle being a Toyota Rav4 on Coppice Road.
Good News: As messaged earlier in the week, local LEOS NHT officers alongside other policing teams and partner agencies conducted a road safety operation near to Lode Lane and the Coventry Road. Multiple vehicles were seized and traffic tickets reported. Officers also visited Valley Primary School infant site and conducted an event with the school. The children were shown the police cars with all its lights and sirens and played dress-up with police hats and coats! Officers made an arrest yesterday in relation to neighbour concerns in Elmdon in order to safeguard all persons. Officers have responded promptly to ASB concerns in Redfern Close, Lyndon. Multiple people were stopped in a drug hot spot and searched and an arrest made with drugs found and taken off the street to be destroyed. We have also recovered a cloned vehicle and another stolen vehicle from the Lyndon area.
We hope you enjoy the hot weather over the next few days and keep yourselves safe in the heat. As always, please reach out if you have any concerns,
